Superseded by #749. Its typed Count/Rate implementation has moved into #749 so the foundation establishes the final SDS identity contract from #737.
Keeping this as a separate prerequisite would leave #749 with conflicting semantics for one stored output. #774 now builds directly on #749 and continues shared physical execution. This PR is closed without a separate merge; its implementation is retained in #749.
